Laurent Sung Dji Reyniex succeeds Mohamed Jerad as General Manager of the Radisson Blu Palace Resort & Thalasso, Djerba.

The 40-something has over 20 years’ experience of resorts in various countries, including Singapore, New Caledonia, Algeria and the Maldives. While he has worked for major hotel chains such as Hyatt, Regency and Marriott, where he spent ten years, he has also tried his hand at entrepreneurship, opening a restaurant in southern Spain.

As for his first impressions of Djerba, he says he was won over by its calm, and by the friendliness and hospitality of the people he met there.
