The Residence Tunis ended 2025 at the top of its region (9.1 with 1,126 reviews) and The Residence Douz remained the country’s top-ranked hotel with a score of 9.4. The other leaders maintained their positions, such as TUI Blue Manar in Hammamet (9.3), Marhaba Palace in Sousse-Port El Kantaoui (9.2), and Iberostar Selection Eolia in Djerba (9).
The year 2025 ends much as it began. The same brands, or almost the same, sit at the top of the rankings, with local and foreign brands virtually neck and neck, except in Hammamet, where local brands dominate the rankings.

At the end of this year, it is regrettable that some Tunisian brands and chains are absent from the ranking because, despite calling themselves “Palace” or “Royal,” they have not managed to break out of the satisfaction rating range of 6 to 7 points.
Disappointment also comes from international chains such as Hilton Skanes, which, after a year in operation, has failed to climb to the top of the rankings. The same is true for Four Seasons Gammarth, whose ranking does not live up to the reputation of its chain.
In contrast, Tunisian brands such as Marhaba, Royal Azur, La Badira, Medina Hotels, and Sindbad (8.6) maintain high levels of satisfaction.
In terms of city hotels, despite the dominance of major international brands, certain Tunisian brands are doing well (Business Hotel, Carlton, Le Corail, Dar El Marsa, etc.). Belvédère Fourati and Adam even have the luxury of achieving the highest scores in Tunis.
Finally, the ranking confirms the strong performance of The Residence Douz, which remains at the top of all resorts with a score of 9.4, despite the return of the other southern resort, now operating under the name The Mora Sahara, in Tozeur. The latter is off to a strong start with a rating of 9.2.
The Residence Tunis ranks at the top of the hotels in its region (rating of 9.1 for 1,126 reviews). Finally, we should mention an atypical brand that cannot really be classified among the international brands as it only exists in Tunisia: Royal Tulip, represented by two magnificent establishments in Hammamet (Royal Tulip Taj Sultan) and Korbous (Royal Tulip Korbous Bay), both of which regularly feature among the best in the rankings.
