    June appears to have been a good month for hotels in Hammamet: several properties in the Top 5 improved their satisfaction ratings. With five hotels scoring 9 or higher, the region reaffirms its level of excellence.

    The race for excellence is in full swing in Hammamet: compared to last month, four properties in our Top 5 have improved their ratings on Booking.com: Royal Azur, Medina Solaria & Thalasso, The Sindbad, and Hasdrubal Thalassa & Spa. The minimum score for this region’s Top 5 has risen further, now standing at 8.7. There are now five hotels with a satisfaction score of 9 or higher (compared to just one hotel in Djerba, two in Tunis, and four in Sousse).

    • See below the ranking of hotels by region.

    As for other regions, the Carlton has entered the rankings in Tunis. On the Carthage Coast, the Regency Hotel, driven by its new management, has performed well; with a score of 8.2, it is likely to join the Top 5 soon.

    In Sfax, the 4-star Donia hotel now shares first place with the Business Hotel. Finally, it is worth noting the entry of the Hilton Skanes (also 8.2) into the rankings more than three years after its opening.

    • This table lists the 5 top-ranked hotels (or more in the case of a tie) in each region according to Booking.com ratings of hotels as of July 5, 2026.
    • Where ratings are equal, the number of reviews takes precedence.
    • Only hotels with more than 100 reviews and a rating of 8/10 or higher have been included in this ranking.

    * Small-capacity hotels: 2- or 3-star hotels with fewer than 50 rooms.
