Karim Kamoun is said to be one of the key players in the revival of the Tunisian hotel industry. He has confirmed this by renting three new hotels: the Mansour in Mahdia and the two Meninx hotels in Djerba (Meninx and Riadh Meninx).
The latter two hotels are owned by the Jalel El Henchiri family: “It’s a win-win agreement, with an equitable sharing of costs and results with someone who’s going to breathe new life into our units,” he enthuses.
Through his two companies TLS and MHG, Karim Kamoun now has a total of 8 units: the Thabraca in Tabarka; in Djerba, the Palm Beach, the Iliade, the Ulysse Palace, the Yadis, the Meninx and the Riadh Meninx; and finally the Mansour in Mahdia.
A chartered accountant turned hotel expert, Karim Kamoun is not stopping there. His newly-created company, MHG, is currently negotiating to host the hotels of an international chain about to enter the Tunisian market.
