It’s official: Mohamed Jerad is no longer General Manager of the Radisson Blu Palace & Thalasso, Djerba. Throughout his career, he was unwaveringly loyal to a single group and a single region, Djerba, first at the Ulysse Palace, then at the Athénée Palace, now Radisson Blu.
One of the most brilliant sales and marketing directors of his generation, he became General Manager with Radisson.
Mohamed Jerad in the 90s
If he is leaving the Radisson Palace today, it is certainly not to enjoy “a well-deserved retirement”, as the saying goes, but to indulge his passion for events with his company Tunisia Music Land, whose concept was popularized by Djerba Music Land. This year, the latter will celebrate its 10th anniversary in style.
Launched in 2015 by Mohamed Jerad, who was looking for a solution to the crisis facing tourism at the time, Djerba Music Land has over the years become a not-to-be-missed event bringing together nearly a thousand epicureans from Tunisia and abroad.
This success has earned Mohamed Jerad the nickname “Mr. Anti-Crisis” with the management of the Radisson chain. This adventure will continue, as it will now be offered regionally in the country’s main tourist resorts.
As fate would have it, the day before his departure from the Radisson Palace, he was called upon to ensure the smooth running of the kick-off meeting of a multinational bringing together dozens of managers from different countries.
And so he’s not about to stop, this time driven not by his loyalty to the Chaïbi group, but to the memory of his father, a hard-working man who, on the very day of his death at the age of 83, was putting the finishing touches to a report promised to a client.
