In the hotel industry, luxury is now synonymous with Asia. In the latest World’s 50 Best Hotels (produced by British publisher W. Reed), the continent takes 8 places in the Top 10. The Capella Bangkok, in first place, dethroned the Italian Passalacqua.

In Morocco, the Mamounia in Marrakech, ranked 6th in 2023, plummets to 31st place, and the Royal Mansour to 38th (29th in 2023). These two establishments have the merit of holding their own in this ranking, while beating out such renowned establishments as the Bristol in Paris.
